April 18, 2023, the Conference on Undergraduate Research and Engagement welcomed 140 student presenters and showcased over 120 faculty-mentored research projects, with 70 faculty represented as faculty mentors on the projects. The opportunity for undergraduate students to be mentored directly by talented faculty sets NIU apart from many institutions.
